Volvo AQ 131

gbartol	I have a Volvo AQ 131 engine in my Bayliner. It starts fine and will run great out of gear 2000/3000 RPM no problem. Put it in gear in the water and it will not go above 1300 RPM. Out of the water in gear it will rev up fine. One other indication is there is no responce to the carb mixture control. I have had the carb rebuilt but no help. Has any one ever had this problem?	2002-09-13
rickiefs	Hi, iam having the saME PROBLEM AS YOU.BUT A LITTLE MORE.NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN I TURN THE AIR FUEL SCREW . ONE GUY TOLD ME TO CHECK THE ELECTRICAL PART OF THE ENGINE, POINTS, COIL, PLUG WIRES. AND TO LOOK AT EVERY WIRE THATS ON THE ENGINE TO SEE IF ITS LOOSE OR TOUCHING ANYTHING!	2002-09-14
