5.8 Litre OMC Engine

jnewman2	Can someone tell the horsepower rating for this engine. I am selling the boat and it is a commonly asked question. I did not receive a manual with the boat. Thanks	2002-09-03
BigBabyLou	Hard to tell precisely, since it depends on the year also. My '91 5.7L has 260 horses (according to GM ) and my '89 7.5L has 330 horses (according to Ford). There is always a place on the web where you can look up info like that. Try maybe google? The year would definitely help. Lou	2002-09-03
